My name is Joel Smith, I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems. I have been interested in computers my entire life, especially in the practical aspects of using and maintaining a computer. I have a working knowledge of application design and web design, but my preferred area of work is in network set-up and maintenance, corporate information technology, and systems administration.

I am currently working for LBP Enterprises in Waynesboro, VA as a Network and Systems administrator. We specialize in multiple types of systems design, installation, and support for small business. I am directly responsible for the set up and maintenance of Windows Networks using Server 2003, 2008, 2008R2 and the related Small Business Servers, as well as Exchange 2007 and 2010 and VoIP systems from Switchvox and Aastra. I also have experience with workstation support, including helpdesk and user training, as well as printer repair on a wide range of technologies and models.
